TI cannot believe to my hears when for the first time I've listen CALADBOLG . The legend of pagan fires the pride of Celtics, the maledictions of witches and wizards , the power of darkness . Great technical and ,for me , a shining future for this Italian band…..they like a scream in the desert …. . If this is a debut…it's a incredible debut . tell me the story of this black metal miracle called Caladbolg… The stabilization of an ancestral band was real in September of '97 :Dumnorix (vx) ,Kheretrios (axe) , Bellovesus (hanner) . In '98 Tettbannach join the band that stars to improve old songs . the track "caladbolg" and the moniker was released in that period , at the same time we play local live gigs . What's the origin of moniker ? Well ,Caladbolg for the Celts is the key representing of the Sword that keep together British peoples , in the original meaning ,usurped by Christendom as "excalibur" sword .We found a symbol that can be union of all passion burning inside us :anger ,fierceness , clangs of ten past battles that echoing in our genes , raising powerful our voices to summon the gods and evoke the cosmic fire . A peculiarity of your band it's the lyrics : a great concentrate of historical proud ,patriotism , legends ,bellicose art ,eternal values etc…please tell me more about the 7 songs of your opera ? We specify that the last songs from the demo-tape are covers from most cult bands : "Tormentor " by Kreator and "Invincible force " by Destruction . About ours ,"Pale and proud" is the most fierce representing the might and the nobility fronting the wretchedness of our time . "The battle of Teutoburg" , as the title means , is a storic evocation of the claim of a daring spirit against the oppressing Roman state . "The christian latinity razed to the ground" : few words: the iperborean culture against the filthy catholic church : invaders , we'll slash them !! "An ancient celtic hymn" is the must meaning track of the "Cosmic restorer" concept : we feel part of the Senonnes-celts tribe culture ,living in our own region , time ago ,as well sung in "caladbolg" track : a hymn to the solar deity (Lugh) and to the millenary Sybilline mountains where it still dwells ! First we must specify the Dumnorix , left the band for his own choice in September '99 , now there 's a new singer and he think on the same way of the band , anyway we consider Nietzsche as one of the most vanguard of human thought , a man that eviscerated our deepest reasons and laws to live , although any politic abuse . Are you agree with the (absurd) racial and cultural integration that it's involved in mother Europe ? I think that racial integration in Europe is inevitable for the economic and politic conditions we bear today , anyway , we think absurd the loss of religion and cultural integrity of any people . We watch sadly missing of traditions in modern era . Anyway ,we never stop to fight the christian hypocrisy : for them , integration is submission of other religions in theirs : as they did with Heathendom . I think Dissection are one of most important bands for you . What your opinion about the facts which have involve the leader Jon Nodveit . Quiet apart the existence of Ultima Thule right before the 3rd Reich ,we condemn any modern political abuse .
